| The walls are paper thin in this hotel. I had a screaming baby in the next room so I got zero sleep. Then the people had the nerve to ask me to turn down my TV, which I was using to block out the sounds of their screaming child. Also, house keeping came by 3 times that morning to ask if they could clean my room after I had already put out the 'do not disturb' sign. Won't be staying at this hotel again. |

| ++ Hotel has a beautiful lobby and staff is friendly and helpful. Location is great - right in Union Square.
Minuses - Rooms are small and plain for the pricing. Asked for a room with a view at check in. Employee said he had a room with a city view available, however, the room we were given only had a view of the rooftop of the hotel next to us. Walls were very thin. Requested a refrigerator brought to the room - never came. Bourbon Steak prices were high for the quality of food served. Would not eat there again although the wait staff was lovely. |

| Such a Regal, Historical , Classic Hotel with Modern Touch.
ROOMS were OUTSTANDING, Clean , and Artistic.
Service to was Equal-Classic.
4th Floor in Orignal Hotel-view of Union Sq., was amazing. Hotel is place in equal distance to all areas.
Great Location, Beautiful Hotel, Classic Service...Enough Said! |

| I reserved a room for New Year’s Eve. Very expensive for one night. When we checked into our room it had not been cleaned from the previous guest. The room was a disgusting mess. We were given another room in the main hotel. The room was charming and clean. However, I was really surprised that we were not given any special treatment for our inconvenience. Perhaps waive our parking fee or send up a bottle of Champaign or upgrade us to a room with a view. Most upscale hotels would have done something. |

| A get-a-way from living on the peninsula for the night. Very enjoyable, shopping, dining and staying at the Westin St. Francis. Will do it again very soon. |

| I expected more out of this hotel, but was disappointed by the service and quality of the bed.
The first night, I requested some earplugs from the front desk , and they said someone would come bring them asap. 30 min later, no one came, so I called them again. The woman said, "Oh, the person went on break." So I asked, "Well... do you know when they'll be back from break?? Is there someone else who can bring them up??" And she just said, "ok", and then hung up the phone!! C'mon, this hotel should have much better service than that!! It felt like they were just doing the bare minimum.
Then, the bed. It was so lumpy and lopsided that both my husband and I had sore backs and necks from one night's sleep. So the next day we had to get a massage and he also went to the chiropractor. All that from one night's stay! |

| Great location! Lobby was decorated very nicely for the holidays. I was here for work & brought the wife & daughter who also enjoyed the stay! Would say here again when the price is right:) |

| We chose this hotel for several reasons: proximity to Union Square and surrounding neighborhood(s) shopping during Christmas. The hotel was very festive. The room view (27th floor) was good. The cleanliness (I don't think the air vent above the bathtub area has ever been cleaned) didn't seem on par with the rate of the room. Nor, did the quality of the linens. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves and would probably choose a different property, nearby, next time. |

| Love this hotel's location. We were so pleased to be able to check in early on the day after Christmas, when we drove in from Sacramento. THey had a room available and let us check in at 8:30 am. This made the day much easier as we were able to shop and drop off our bags during the day. We loved the room, the view and our only small complaint is that the pillows weren't that comfortable, but the bed was wonderful! If you want the perfect location in SF, stay here! |

| We booked 2 rooms in the tower/glass elevator section of the hotel. Both rooms had views of Union Square that were very nice. The rooms were clean and quiet. There was a light out next to the mirror in the bathroom but that was the only complaint. We had dinner at the Bourbon Steak House located in the St. Francis. It was really expensive but the service was great (5 people waited on us!) and the steaks were wonderful! The best part was that our son proposed to his girlfriend Christmas morning on the balcony area overlooking the beautiful Sugar Castle! Then they went ice skating at Union Square. The weather was beautiful and everything went perfectly from check-in to check-out. |
