Recent Westin Review: "From the moment we arrived the staff was incredibly friendly and accomodating. The room was very comfortable and clean. The double shower head in the bathroom was a bonus after a long day of walking. Great views of Alcatraz and the bay bridge.They didn't miss a thing there were even wine glasses in your rooms. Beds very comfortable and the best part was walking into the lobby everyday. A large table with the most beautiful orchids and hydrangea's sat on it and set off the most incredible aroma every time you open the doors. It was also very centrally located across the street from a nice little bar with very reasonable drinks and food. My only negative to the entire stay at the Westin was the incredibly over priced restaurant. We had our most expensive meal of the trip there and it was breakfast. Talk about sticker shock. We had 2 cups of coffee, 2 orange juices, eggs benedict(not very good btw) and an omelette. The other nice feature the hotel had was a courtyard with a firepit which was nice to sit and have an overly priced glass of wine at. Yes again very expensive but still a nice place for happy hour. Will most absolutely recommend this place to anyone, just eat elsewhere."
