Recent Westin Market Street Review: "My husband and I traveled to San Francisco for our babymoon and had a phenomenal time. The location of the hotel is close to the BART (Montgomery station) and cable car stop (Powell/Market). There are plenty of things to walk to from the hotel: shopping, dining, observing. The rooms were nice and comfortable. Reasonable space and storage areas. We  had a nice big flat screen tv in front of the bed but the sound quality was just so-so. We stayed in one night and watched a movie that costs around $18, which I thought was expensive since there is a nice theater down the block, but it's nice to stay in and relax at times. The beds and sheets are very soft and comfortable. Although my bed skirt did have a large stain, the rest of the bed was clean. The bathrooms are cozy, but they made the most of the space by creating shelves underneath the sink. The water pressure left much to be desired, but the bathrooms were clean overall. The parking at the hotel is expensive ($50+/night) so we did not rent a car. A friend picked us up one day to show us around the town. Fortunately, they didn't have to fight the Union Square traffic to get to the hotel. Union Square is about a 3-5 minute walk from the hotel, definitely do-able. There are a lot of great shopping in the area of the hotel, but most of the food was very commercial. Taxi's around San Francisco, in general, are hard to find. But the people at the hotel would call one for us whenever we requested. The service of the employees were polite and I would stay here again on a future visit."
