| Well, you get what you pay for. Make sure to arrive during the day. I stayed for 3 nights with a friend. The hotel was like no other. I will stay positive and say ... it was very European, great for singles and students. NOT for anything romantic, or for those who want to hang in the room. The room was pretty small and included a sink and tv. The shared bathroom was 1 shower and toilet for the floor. I brought flip-flops for showering (better safe than sorry). I would recommend this for other students on a budget traveling in pairs. |

| After reading all the reviews for this hotel we came in not expecting a lot, but I really enjoyed this hotel. My friends and I stayed here for 3 nights on a weekend getaway to the city.
The Verona is like something out of a movie. It maintains a lot of it's original charm from when it was built in the early 1900s. The front desk staff was very friendly and had answers for all our questions. The rooms, while not spectacular, were clean and comfortable. We even dared have a shared bathroom(there are sinks in the rooms). It was always clean and stocked and we never had to wait to use it. The neighborhood around the hotel can appear a little sketchy but me and my girlfriends(all of us in our early 20s) never once felt threatened. Almost every San Francisco tourist spot is literally minutes away. Don't get scared off by other reviews, but do keep in mind how much you're paying for your room when you book it. Really touchy people should stay away, leave more rooms for me. |

| The hotel is wonderfully situated close to everything in San Francisco. The room was nice with a balcony. It can get noisy at night on occasions, but its part of the city atmosphere. I would recommend this hotel for anyone that wants a real experience of the City. |

| I saw people on here saying the place is horrible. Now if you are use to 5 star hotels then yes this will not meet your expecations. I thought the hotel had a lot of character. yes it is a bad neighborhood but walking around the streets I did not feel at all in any danger and I am a 25yr old female. ALso it is in the heart of SAn Fran and close to everything. THe staff was very nice and helpful.
I would stay there again. |

| its not the greatest and most lavish hotel but its does have some perks.Its a really old hotel so you feel like you are in a movie.i dont know but i like it. |

| Hotel Verona is a nice quality hotel, especially for those trying to keep an eye on their budget. It's a bit old fashion and is in the Tenderloin of San Francisco, but don't let that deter you from staying there. |
