Recent Stratford Two Review: "Rooms much smaller than I am used to. Bedroom 10ft X10ft sink was next to bed. Shower 3ft X 3ft. Toilet area 4X4. I was alone so it was not too bad. Hotel is in the heart of it all! Great little bar (with great live music), pizza, burgers, crepes, wine shop, cigar shop, Walgreens, Bank of AMeri ATM, Taxi stand, trolley stand, great shopping all ONE  Minute away from hotel front door! Clean rooms, new towels. Only trouble I had...one day (09/01/2011) NO hot water for a shower. They installed NEW mega-sized water heaters that day. So, all that guests that will visit for the next 20 years will have plenty of hot water! At the time, I was very upset, manager upgraded my room, and was very helpful. (above and beyond) So I appreciated what he did. 10 Minute walk to the Mascone Center or a cheap taxi ride (4 minutes). Need to walk up (50 yards) to next hotel to get a Taxi. Front desk booked me a ride to airport, Taxi came exactly on time... Perfect. Ask the front desk people questions, they were very helpful, gave great suggestions. Tea room was nice, breakfast had coffee, assorted teas, assorted breads, muffins, granola, milk, and toasters. price was right...free! (included with room). Starbucks on the corner if you needed more. As mentioned by others, only one elevator very slow. Ice machine on the first floor, grab a bucket of ice on your way up. Cheers!"
