| You share bathrooms with the whole floor - if you don’t mind that, it's a nice hotel. Build in 1906 and it was kept pretty much the way it was build. Everything is small and windy - I like that. It’s a very charming little hotel. If you want comfort and a big room you should look somewhere else though.
Just be sure you be there before 10 pm to check in. I stood before closed doors – my plain was late and my cellphone did not work (if you call them, they’ll open the door) so I had to find someone that would borrow me a phone (not to easy at 11:30 pm).
I really recommend the hotel. I liked it very much and would definitely stay there again. They don’t serve breakfast, but there is a nice little café just down one block (Café Francisco – on Francisco Street) that serves great breakfast at a reasonable price. |

| I needed a hotel in downtown for a tradeshow and everything was very expensive. As I wasn't planning on being in the room that long, any clean bed would suffice.
After looking around a while, San Remo popped up. The idea of a shared shower and bathroom was almost a deal breaker, but I decided to go ahead anyway.
This hotel is fantastic! As other reviews have said, very clean. The staff was great about arranging taxis as needed and recommendations for neighborhood dining/entertainment. The bed was firm and nice, although the room was small. But hey - it was about 1/4th the cost of the bigger places closer to the convention center, and the bus ride there was only two dollars each way.
The interior is hard for me to describe, but very quaint, light, and interesting. I will definitely stay here again if the occasion arises. |

| Уютный, совсем не сетевой по духу, отель на одну-две ночи. Постройка начала ХХ ввека. Для тех кто не боится номеров очень скромного размера. |

| Hotellet var väldigt enkelt och är mer ett hostel än ett hotell. Vårt rum hade ett handfat medan toalett och dusch fanns i korridoren. Det fanns två toaletter och två duschar på vår våning, men var sällan kö.
Rummen är väldigt små, det var väldigt trångt för två vuxna med två stora resväskor. Rummen är gamla men fräscha. Städningen fungerade bra.
Hotellet ligger 5 min gångväg från Fishermans Wharf. Det är lika nära till en cablecar som tar dig till/från Union Square. I direkt närhet finns parkeringsgarage (ca $16-19 per dygn), restauranger och matbutiker.
Hotellpersonalen var hjälpsam med information om det mesta. |

| This is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in.
Unique style and decor, really old furniture, but all new mattresses - really comfortable. Unique decor. Probably was a cowboy w-house in a previous life!
Atmosphere made all the guests really friendly (now there is a change..
No room TV / Phone a real benefit.
Shared shower / wc was not an issue as they were so clean.
Amazing value / location.
I would go back in a flash. |

| l'hôtel est très bien situé, dommage que certaines chambres soient bruyantes, au dessus du restaurant italien. La musique de fond, est gênante- pas trop tard heureusement-une autre chambre pour une autre nuit, pire - la 29- que je déconseille, au dessus des cuisines- donc musique plus fort et bruit de vaisselle très gênant. bouchons d'oreilles indispensables. Mais d'autres chambres sont mieux situées.
sinon cadre très agréable, bon accueil - beaucoup de charme -prix raisonnable- |

| This hotel was small, comfortable and I felt very safe. It was a breath of fresh air after backpacking for a couple of weeks. Hotel has no frills as in 24 hour reception or breakfast but if you are looking for a basic, clean, friendly place then stay here! Excellent location - close to Pier 39. |

| Pire39から徒歩10～15分という、観光にはとても良い立地にあります。
フロントは朝8時～夜11時まで対応で時間外のチェックアウトは鍵をキーボックスに入れる方式です。
部屋は広くなくバストイレも各階備え付けの共同となりますが、混み合うことも全くなく不便さを感じませんでした。ドライヤーもフロントで借りられます。
使用はしませんでしたが、インターネット設備やランドリー、自動販売機も設置されていました。
また次の機会も利用したいと思っています。 |
