Recent San Remo Hotel Review: "I needed a hotel in downtown for a tradeshow and everything was very expensive. As I wasn't planning on being in the room that long, any clean bed would suffice.
After looking around a while, San Remo popped up. The idea of a shared shower and bathroom was almost a deal breaker, but I decided to go ahead anyway.
This hotel is fantastic! As other reviews have said, very clean. The staff was great about arranging taxis as needed and recommendations for neighborhood dining/entertainment. The bed was firm and nice, although the room was small. But hey - it was about 1/4th the cost of the bigger places closer to the convention center, and the bus ride there was only two dollars each way.
The interior is hard for me to describe, but very quaint, light, and interesting. I will definitely stay here again if the occasion arises."
