| This is my wife's and also my favorite hotel in the US. The ironic thing is we live less than 1 1/2 hours from here in Napa. We have and continue to travel all over the world and we live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Yet, the Ritz- HMB continues to enthrall us. |

| this is one of the most beautiful ritz carltons out there. the location is simply breath-taking. we felt like we'd stepped back in time. absolutely exquisite. |

| Very romantic and beautiful environment, friendly supportive staff, and great wine bar. I stayed at one of the cottages which was a little dirty on the outside and the lock had problems, but the inside was very nice. |

| The hotel is fantastic as a whole....the room was comfortable and very clean, the grounds were impeccable, the amenities were outstanding---however, the people running the front desk were not only less than enthused to help us on several occassions, but failed to inform us about our stay in any way (including what our package included, what amenities we had access to, etc). It was a let down, because we had to spend quite some time walking around to figure everything out, and then speak to two different people to find out what our "fire and wine package" included---as we paid a premium and yet nothing special seemed to come with it upon check-in.
Anyway, beautiful hotel, but less than gracious staff. |

| And we tried to call the front desk and no one answered. We were concerned. ALl we received was a typed form stating "Sorry for the inconvience" I would have offered to waive the mandatory $25.00 "resort" fee. Yes, you have all the free DVD's to borrow, but $25.00 a DAY and parkinmg is $45.00 a day! OUCH!!!! BUT service is AWESOME. |

| I've never stayed at a Ritz Carlton before, so when the opportunity presented itself, I jumped at it. The property, staff, restaurants, proximity to the ocean and view, everything, was fabulous. The only downfall was that we were placed in a beautiful room directly below the restuarant. So no matter what time of day, even during the middle of the night, we heard footsteps and movement above us. So if you have the opportunity to stay at this hotel, do so. It is worth it, just make sure you don't get placed on the second floor beneath the restaurants. |
