| Places are expensive in the city do for the price I think it is fine. As other people say it could use a new coat of paint as it's peeling but only if you look for it. I would spend the extra $30 for a room with a view next time if I planned to spend any amount of time in the room. Free happy hour was nice but don't drink to much as it is cheap win e. |

| A very nice and classy hotel. Great service from the employees. Close to Union Square and cheaper parking available around the corner. |

| room wasn't large, but it was enough if you're mostly going around town all day. pretty nice how they have free coffee in the morning and free wine from 5-6pm. The only thing I'd recommend is to find some place to park your car. Parking at the hotel is - seriously - $50 a night. Other than that, the location is good - two blocks away from Union Square. I'd def stay again. |

| Great place, pleasant experience from the Front Desk to every single person we encountered during our 4 day stay. Helpful, knowledgable, friendly.
The wine reception in the lobby is well worth it, beautiful fireplace, comfy seating. Club level well worth the full bar and snacks every night at no extra charge.
I am pretty picky and I have to say I could jot find one thing I was unhappy about or would complain about.
We make this trip every year for the last 15+ yrs. for a
Birthday celebration. Up until 2 yrs. ago we ALWAYS stayed at the Westin St. Francis. While it's top notch, great location on square it does NOT have the charm, friendly feel of the Prescott. As for location you ate talking one block walk to the Square. ONE BLOCK!!
The only thing I MIGHT change next year is parking the car on our own. The garage is 2 doors up from the hotel with a $18 rate. The Prescott has a $ 42-45 a day charge. It takes about 20-30 min. to get your car. This was not a big issue for us but it is $$ that could be spent on a nice dinner or shopping at Union Square. Once your there you rarely need the car. 1 block over you can catch the cable car all the way down to the Wharf. Cabs are everywhere to catch if you so choose. Theatre's and dinning are all in walking distance even in a gown and heels!
We will be staying here for many years to come.
p.s. The Restaurant in the hotel has good food, friendly, good service and medium priced. Room service daily till 10:30pm at night!

| The hotel and staff were all helpful and friendly. The location was perfect. Great for getting around the city and to/from SFO. The room was perfect size for 2 people, clean and comfortable. Room was on back side of hotel so the view wasn't much but it was quiet with very little street noise even in a larger city with lots of public transportation. Evening wine reception was a plus too, talked to a lot of fellow holiday travelers there. Would stay there again without hesitation. |

| It's a lovely hotel in the heart of Uniion Square. I'd definately stay there again and again. You can make the cable cars your mode of transport if you're there in off season. |

| Nice Hotel for right in the city. Being downtown, there was some street noise throughout the night. Parking was expensive, but the hotel was very close to cable car and trolley lines. The room was small, but very nice. Very clean |

| - conveniently located in the city centre with access to cable car, BART etc.
- clean rooms in a nice neighbourhood; very helpful staff
- drawbacks: no WiFI (had to pay USD 7 for each 15min of Internet), expensive valet parking (USD 40 per night) so better return your car if rented |
