Recent Pickwick Hotel Review: "Try to remember something with San Francisco hotels: the rooms are always cramped (small)and the walls are always paper thin and the presence of homeless people outside is imminent. This, of course, does not apply to luxery hotels, etc. That aside, this hotel was great! Good location, the parking is mid-range pricing for hotels. I loved the fact that they had a king-size bed with down comforters, not the nasty thin bed spreads that are supper slippery. Even with the king-size bed in the room, we had enough room to move about and not feel closter-phobic. My boyfriend said that he could hear the generaters nextdoor and the traffic, but it wasn't bad because they have double pane windows. My advice to travellers coming to SF - bring earplugs. Elevator was fine and fast and they always had hot water. The neighborhood is fine at night. I would definately recommend this place, in fact, I already have to two people."
