| Mycket mysigt hotell, inredning med blommiga tapeter och öppen spis på rummet. Bra frukost, det finns ägg, gröt, fil, frukt och rostat bröd, sådant uppskattas av mig. På eftermiddagarna serveras tilltugg med vin, trevligt tillfälle att prata lite med de andra gästerna på hotellet. Rekommenderas! |

| Service was excellent! Good breakfast. Loved the afternoon wine and appetizers! The host was great! Always willing to help us find dining and make reservations. Smaller, older inn in downtown area. Very small room, furniture older and somewhat worn. Good bargain...would come back! |

| We stayed at Petite Auberge for the Nike Women's marathon, and found it to be very gracious and accommodating--they set up a breakfast for runners very early on Sunday in the neighboring sister hotel. We stayed in a room with a queen bed and a pull-out, and the pullout was fine for a child (not recommended for an adult). Breakfast was included and very tasty, and there's a nice happy hour with wine and hors d'oeuvres.
The only drawback was that it was quite loud--we were woken several times by noise from the street, and from neighboring rooms--hence the lower rating for "comfort." Admittedly, this may be hard to avoid in the middle of the city, especially in street-side rooms. Nonetheless, I'd return and would recommend the hotel to friends. |

| This hotel was a wonderful place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel and room was amazingly clean, and they thought of everything you might need while away from home. They even had q-tips in the bathroom! Our room was small and cozy, but we found it very comfortable. There was plenty of storage space and electrical outlets, and a modern tv with lots of channels to surf through. They offered a great breakfast with fresh coffee and many pastries, fruits, and hot items. And the wine reception each evening was a great way to meet fellow travelers. It's walking distance to lots of San Francisco spots, like Chinatown and Union Square, and it's only a block from the trolley stop that can take you to the waterfront. It's close to lots of great little local places to eat, several cafes, and some of the best pizza places in town. The car took a bit to retrieve, but they only have one valet and they warned us it would be about 30 minutes when we checked in. It was a beautiful place, I know we'll stay there again on our next visit. |

| The petite auberge is close to union square, but it is an uphill walk from the shopping district.
Nearby good sushi (e.g., Sanraku) and good pizza (e.g., Bellisimo). |

| Anbefalles! Små rom og bad, men veldigt sjarmerende! Fantasifull gratis winereception med snacks! Bra beliggenhet nær downtown/bussar/chinatown og Cablecar-hålleplass. Hyggelig og serviceinstillt personal. |

There is some noice in the morning from the streets, but it is a big city and it must be the same at all hotels. Very nice breakfast. Small and very cozy hotel. Would absolutely stay there again. |

| The Petite Auberge was a terrific choice for us. The location was perfect, walking distance to many areas. The staff is so friendly and helpful. 5pm wine and meet and greet was so fun...we met many wonderful people from all over the globe. Price was very good for San Francisco. Rooms are small but adequate...clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our fireplace as it did get chilly one night. We were a little concerned about other reviews regarding noise..we did not find this to be the case. The hotel actually reminded me of a small bed and breakfast in the French countryside...we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already recommended it to others. |
