| It is OK that there is no bathroom, only in the corridor. It is OK that the matress and pillows are terrible. But it should be cleaner, smell better and have no roaches sharing the room with the guests. |

| The halls of the hotel do not smell fresh, in fact they are smelly. The guest who stayed in my room immediately before I did was obviously a heavy smoker and it took about 24 hours just to air out the room to rid it of smoke. Everyone knows that second hand smoke is unhealthy. However, location of the hotel was outstanding; very convenient to Union Square. |

| I'm a merchant seaman and need an inexpensive centrally located place to my union hall in S.F. this place was best for just such a criteria mentioned above. This hotel is used by those in the merchant marine frequently and that is how I found about it, through word of mouth. |

| The park hotel wasn't bad at all. It doesn't look like a very nice hotel and still needs a lot of updating to do, but the location was great. We were like 2 blocks from union square and 2 blocks from the entrance to chinatown. Basically, you're just paying for the location. If you do get a room here, I recommend your own bathroom. |

| The room was comfortable and clean. I particularly enjoyed the fact that my room overlooked Sutter Street and I could open the window and hear the sounds of the street during the day. The only complaint I would have is that the water pressure in the shower was horrible. |

| The hotel was small and cozy. If San Fran wasnt so cool at night that room would be an inferno. The staff leaves after midnight so when there is alot of noise as there is every night there is no one to complain to. If you can deal with all of that its a nice hotel and walking distance from everything... |

| Great location. Clean,Spatran room. I was worried about the shared bath and toilet, but it was clean and relatively convenient. The low price was worth it. When you ar in SF, you don't spend much time in your room anyway. |

| I was looking for a cheap hotel in downtown SF, and this was definetly that. No cable TV, internet, or continental breakfast. The location was great though... only a block from Union Square. I did have to kill two small roaches, though. My thought is simply this: If you can afford something better, do it! But if not, this really isn't a bad choice for the money. |

| The hotel is located about 2 blocks from Union square, it is a great location. The room had a mini fridge which was great. Make sure to check that the hotel door key works before you go out at night. |
