Recent Oyster Point Review: "The Inn at Oyster Point was a very quaint, unique property. I don't know when it was built, but based on appearance I'd guess over thirty years ago... While the hotel certainly needed a paint touch up on the exterior, and the lobby was small and unimpressive, the room itself was very nice. The bathroom looked very recently updated, and was very spacious.  The room was larger than average, with a beautiful bay view style windows looking out over the pier, and of course have a fireplace - especially when traveling for a couple's getaway - is very nice. The bed was very comfortable with four large soft pillows, and the radio had an ipod hook-up. The grounds themselves are very nice as well, and they give the area an almost New England feel. The hotel on its own was very nice, however, the highlight was probably the restaurant. We had made initial plans to go eat somewhere on the wharf, but changed our minds at the last minute. The food was excellent and the wine was great. The wine list itself is very small, but I'd recommend the house brand, it was surprisingly good (I can vouch for the pinot noir). We each had an entree, salad, and shared a dessert as well as a bottle of wine - everything totaled well under $100... Amazing! Lastly, the staff is super friendly. Both the girl at the front desk and our server in the restaurant were genuinely nice and helpful, and that in and of itself I believe is rare in the service industry today... To some up - we will be returning to this hotel in the future."
