Recent Mosser Review: "I had a "Standard" room (private bath and full-size bed) at the Mosser during a long weekend trip to San Francisco, and I was pleased with the value the Mosser offered compared to other hotels in the area. Like other reviewers, I think the Mosser is best for people traveling alone (or with a partner) who really only need a place to sleep, shower, and  store their stuff. That was the case for me as a solo traveler, and I found it to be a wonderful place to stay. I also had a friend from the suburbs stay in the room with me one night and it wasn't a problem to have two adults in the room, even as we got ready in the morning. My room (which faced the inner courtyard) wasn't huge, but it was laid out well and was big enough to accommodate a full-sized bed. The large window let plenty of California sunshine in, and the nice wooden blinds were also great at keeping the sun out when I didn't want it. Like others have mentioned, the double-pane windows do an excellent job of blocking out any noise from the street. I also really appreciated that everything in the room looked brand new -- all of the furniture and bathroom fixtures were spotless and well-maintained. Everything was also aesthetically pleasing, as you can see in the photos of the rooms. The Mosser has some style, and I think that sets it apart from other hotels in this price range. I've stayed at similarly priced places in other cities where it's very obvious from the plain, basic room that you didn't shell out top dollar for that space. However, it's also really silly to shell out a lot of money for a room that you're hardly spending any time in! The Mosser is a great choice for a traveler who wants to have a cute, stylish space to stay without blowing their budget. The staff were all friendly and courteous, and check-in and out were effortless. The hotel's location is excellent -- I don't think you'll find a better or more convenient hotel in this price range in this area (I looked!). If you're traveling with"
