Recent Monaco Kimpton Review: "From the moment we checked in, we received nothing but outstanding, friendly customer service. We were in a suite on the 3rd floor and can't rave enough about how "sweet" the room was. The Aveda shower products were superb and the pet bed and doggy water bowl were delivered immediately upon check-in. The staff called us by name, as well as our two small  dogs that accompanied us. The welcome sign at the front door that had the names of our dogs was a very nice touch. The bed and linens were very comfortable too. We ate at the Grand Cafe, attached to the hotel. The meal was very nice. The restaurant has a wood burning pizza oven and the aroma is fantastic. The hotel is located a few blocks from Union Square where we had to walk the dogs for their potty times. It's quite a jaunt to go if your dogs need to relieve themselves. Since we love to walk often we didn't have any issues with the many daily walks to Union Square. From Union Square you can take tours of the city. There are double decker tourbuses and they sell tickets at teh stops. Shopping around the area is great. All the high-end brand names were in the area. There's also a Walgreens and a small grocer directly across the street from Monaco's main entrance. Everything is accessible from the Monaco!"
