Recent Mithila Hotel Review: "The dates are actually wrong, I ended up staying at the Mithila Hotel from Monday (5/9) until Friday morning (5/13). My purpose was only to be there for two nights as I was working out the leasing arrangements for an apartment. The apt. process was slow so I ended up staying longer, and it really turned about to be more of a blessing than I could imagine!  Tim, one of the hotel clerks, was a classy gentleman, performed great customer service and was EXTREMELY ACCOMMODATING!!!!! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Don't let the 2 star rating fool you. Nevertheless, to each his own, but I will say this as a disclaimer: If your the type of person that is low maintenance, has a low budget and not picky then this is the place for you! If your the opposite, then go somewhere else. As for me, the Mithila gave me all that I needed - a place to stay while I was in transition, flexible policy, service with a smile, and a family atmosphere. Truly this is the only place I'd stay in San Francisco, CA... RHS"
