| Hotel was very nice. Would be nicer if wi-fi was offered in the rooms and not just in the lobby. At the rate and the class of the hotel, this should be an added amenity. |

| The Hotel was very nice and close to shopping and restaurants we took the Muni Bus to Pier 39 and China town and pais $2.00 for the day vs $12.00 round trip to the Pier. My only complaint is on the website parking is advertised as $32.00 a day but when we arrived we were told that parking was $51.00 a day and that the $32.00 parking was across the street. The valet was nice enough to match the $32.00 a day. I would definitely come back to this Hotel. |

| Stayed for two nights for a conference and absolutely loved everything about it - location, The View restaurant, service, everything. The room was very comfortable and spacious, unlike other hotels in SF where you walk into a closet and have zero space to move around.
It's conveniently located in the Union Square - and when I got the chance, I really enjoyed just stepping out and exploring. Right outside is the Metreon, Yerba Buena Gardens, Union Square shops and mall, and a ton of wonderful eateries. Couldn't have asked for a better location.
My only trip up was when the shower flooded my entire bathroom floor and I slip and fell pretty hard. But I suppose I should have been more cautious. Also, I wish the Starbucks stayed open later, sometimes a girl needs her Americano at night. But other than that I had a FANTASTIC stay, and really enjoyed every aspect of the hotel.
Also, I usually try to stay away from hotel restaurants but my friend and I had the best time at The View - it's on the top floor of the hotel and has the most gorgeous views of San Francisco - from the Financial District buildings, to the water, to the hills with houses. We got there while there was still light out and chatted until it got dark, and it was awesome to sit there, have a drink, and watch the city lights go on. Perfect and flawless evening. The food was great too! Usually if there's a good view, then the food is pricey and not up to par, but we ordered the pork sliders and filet mignon with mac and cheese - everything was delicious (pricey, but delicious).
Would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone, and can't wait to stay at the Marriott Marquis again! |

| It was a great place to stay. I wish that the thermostat would actually keep the room at the temperature that I had set it to (I like it cold), but it did a fairly good job.
Other than that small thing, the room was great and the staff was great. I recommend it! |

| We have used this hotel many times in the past. We booked for a wonderful few days in SF between Christmas and New Years. As a Marriott Silver customer, we were offered to upgrade to the Club Level for an extra charge. We decided it would be nice to have the extra service and convienence of the club for a snack, drink etc. Over the course of three days, each time we visited the club it was packed to over flowing with people. Mostly children and college students. The place was a mess, so loud you can hear it in the rooms, food all over the floor and hotel staff who looked exhaused and seemed to have given up hope of getting the place under control. When we complained to the front desk we were told "oh well it's the holidays and what do you expect us to do about it" Well I expected to have them refund the premium we paid to upgrade to the Club Level. That is not possible we were told, nor were we able to move to another room away from the disaster they call the "Club" |
