Recent Mark Twain Two Review: "The hotel was outstanding for the price and was more than adequate in every way. The staff was always professional and responsive. The rooms were clean and everything worked! We stayed there for 3 nights in 3 rooms with our teenagers (ages 15 & 17) and our daughter (age 21) with her daughter (age 2). The only things that made the stay a little less than perfect were minor things that went with an older city hotel -- one small elevator which usually required waiting a while, and valet parking which, although appreciated as an alternative to finding street parking in downtown San Francisco, took 10-15 min. to get the car. There was a charge for wifi, which was provided free by most other hotels on our trip. There was cable TV, but an $11.99 charge for movies. We didn't mind, since we didn't go on vacation to watch movies anyway, and if someone had a concern about their children clicking "OK" to purchase a movie, the instructions said there was a way to use parental controls. The hotel was just 2 doors away from a wonderful coffee shop which served delicious breakfasts with fresh fruit -- even fresh-squeezed orange juice. We would definitely stay there again."
