| Great location. Spent very little time in the room, but when I was there it was clean and quiet.

| If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay in the Marina it works. It has the basics without the luxury. Parking was difficult, but it was walking distance from the places we needed to be so we adapted. |

| Initially we were concerned about what the surrounding neighborhood would look like and why the price was so cheap.
The hotel exceeded our expectations across the board.
The hotel was tucked into a quiet side street and also along the busy Lombard Street. The hotel was clean and quiet. Every morning there was a small breakfast consisting of muffins, coffee and juice. There were easily enough muffins for everybody and they were good as well.
The rooms were not huge, but we were just looking for something to sleep in, with most of our time touring the town. Even one day when the temperature was warm enough to make it a bit uncomfortable, we opened the windows and turned on the fan.
The only knock, was the shower was very sensitive when trying to find the right water temperature.
There was a bus stop at the end of the block that we regularly used. The bus that services that stop goes to Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown, and to Union Square.
We will definitely stay here again. |

| A fun hotel, but NO parking. You have to double park or park in someone's driveway to unload our suit cases. We were told parking was 3 blocks away in a private parking lot. Reality it was closer to 5 blocks.
Also on check in we were given an electronic key to our room. When we went in the room as occupied. The owner of the was in t he bathroom. We closed the door quietly and went down tho the check-in to explain the error. They were quite apologetic and gave us another room. |

| Nice, clean hotel with a good location. No parking is available so if you drive there you will have to find a place to park on the street. Good restraunts within walking distance. |

| The rooms are very small and the furnishings are minimal. Also there is no parking available unless you wish to walk across a busy street, in the rain, then double park in the street to get your belongings |

| This hotel is not modern but is clean and has a bit of character. All of the rooms have slightly different furnishings, with nothing fancy. Some rooms, and bathrooms, are larger than others. The service is bare bones. Don't expect the front desk to press your shirts or call a taxi for you. For the money, the Marina Inn is very adequate and has a lot more charm than some of the larger motels in the area. There is no parking, so if you rent a car you will end up parking on the street somewhere nearby, which may be challenging depending on the time of day. The rooms are always very clean and are small and cozy. Some of the rooms may be a bit noisier than others because of traffic on Lombard St. |
