Recent Laurel De Vivre Boutique Review: "I was only there overnight, to visit a friend who is at the UCSF hospital. This hotel is one of the more convient locations to the hospital. The room was pretty nice, well kept (202). I did not find a fridge/minibar, but there is a good-sized flat screen TV. It appears to be one of the larger rooms. It faces the street which is noisy, and I forgot to  bring my usual ear plugs so that was my only problem. They have 2 small levels of parking. The neighborhood just north of Laurel Inn, heading towards Presidio, is very nice, a great area to walk around, and there are some good restaurants as well. (Went to Garibaldi's with friend's husband, we had a great meal there). The 2 hotel staff members I dealt with were very pleasant. Overall quite pleased however with sensitive hearing I would ask for quieter room next time (and remember to bring my foam earplugs!)."
