| Great location, but can be noisy at night. The room was comfortable, but the showerhead was a bit broken. I'd come back. |

| This hotel had the best concierge ever! (12/25&12/26).
The good things are; close to all the shops and tram, pretty comfortable bed, hard not saggy, not really any view but had a queen size room on 6th floor that was very sunny.
Downsides were the thin walls so you can hear "activity" in neighboring rooms, room is fine but if you are used to 3-4 star hotels it may disappoint. The location is close to restaurants, right next door is Cafe Mason which has a good breakfast and is open late, also Maru Sushi was a few blocks and was great!
Many somewhat in-your-face homeless people which gets a bit depressing, I would compare the atmosphere to Times Square. Next time I would spend a little more $ and try North Beach or Nob Hill for a more tranquil stay. For the Union Square location friend had recommended the Rex Hotel which looked like it was just a couple blocks up from this hotel a slightly nicer block. I think their rate was a higher per night but probably worth it! |

| Good hotel, wonderful location! Good deal
Beds are not the most confortable we ever seen, room was small and little noisy but it was nothing compare to all advantages. |

| This is not your big fancy hotel but the location is excellent and was perfect me for me.
If Im back in San Franciso I will be booking King George hotel again |

| We had a great night stay at the King George. Great late night food at Cafe Mason next door & within a few blocks of where we needed to be. Only problem was the 7am-on-a-Saturday-Morning picket rally outside our window. Complete with megaphones & an amp! Yes, 4 hours sleep & a maddening realization that our 1 night away from the kiddos & all hopes of sleeping in were dashed to the sewer. No hopes of blocking it out & nothing to do about it. Put a sour note on an otherwise pleasant stay. Yes I would stay here again & yes I recommend it BUT ask the hotel staff to please put you in a room opposite the potential picketers. |

| Really good location, just around the corner from Union Square, so great if you are a tourist. Very reasonable price and the hotel staff provided a really good service, friendy and helpful. The only problem is the building itself, which is quite old. There are quite large gaps underneath the doors, which means that noise carries easily from the corridor, so you are depandant on your neibours being quite to get peace and quiet. In conclusion I guess you get what you pay for! |
