| this hotel is centrally located and close to everything. The neighborhood is full of interesting shops and restaurants. The hotel is clean, the staff is wonderful. The bar restaurant is really nice - the food is great. I especially like the convenience of the hotel being attached to the Japantown Mall. It is well worth the upgrade to stay in one of the upper fllors - the view of the city is gorgeous from the balconies. I highly recommend this hotel. |

| Hotel kabuki was the first experience for me to stay in ajapanese hotel and I really enjoyed it. Nice well maintained place, friendly and curtuesed staff. Away from downtown noise yet close ro every attraction in the city. Neiborhood restaurants stores Offered a new positive experience. |

| I thought a Chip Conley joie d'vivre hotel would be something special and this was not. When we checked in (granted it was 4am), we had to wait quite a while for anyone to come to the front desk. Food was left in the hallways for more than 24 hours without anyone coming by to pick it up and we found the general service attitude to be lackluster with one exception. The handy man working on the doors as we left was exceptionally helpful and even refused a tip when we tried to tip him for getting our keys from the valet station. |

| We stayed at Hotel Kabuki over new years and it was very clean in a great location. My only critique is that there wasn't much included with the high price we paid. The hotel is hooked up with a spa, but it is not included with your stay as it seemed to be on their website. If you want to go to the spa it is $20/visit. The parking for the hotel is also not free @ $19/day. No food is included and the only option for breakfast is a buffet @ $18/person. The price of the room on new year's eve also went up $100, but I guess that is to be expected for a high end hotel.
I do believe the hotel should at least give out free passes to the spa and/or validate parking as a privilege for their guests which would offset their high price for the room and make their guests feel more welcome. The front desk didn't really seem to care. |

| We got an excellent price for a one-night stay in Japan Town. The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated. Our room was super cool with excellent views of the city and a great soaking tub with complimentary bath salts and yummy wash and lotions. The location couldn't be better for walking through Japan town and going to dinner. Would definitely stay again! |

| Close to all major visitor sights. Valet lot is limited and sligthly difficult to use. Traffic noise is noticiable. Access to Japan Town restaurants and shopping is convienient and easy. Cabs and public transit will take you all over town. Comfortable Hotel for my 82 year old Japan born mom. |

| we are frequent stayers at this hotel, but learned the lesson that not every room is worth staying in. our room looked right into another, had a loud steam vent right outside, we couldnt even see the city,sky, nothing but our neighbors!! BAD room for new years, very disappointed, we stay here because of the balcony king rooms that have views of the city. We also were refused spa passes, which we normally get with every check in, as joie de vivre members we had hoped for alittle better care. Not a good visit with hotel kabuki for us!! |
