| We love this Hotel and it's Staff...it's the best service we've ever rec'd in a SF Hotel in this price range! We especially love the proximity to ATT &T Park when we come for the SF Giant games. |

| We will return to the Hotel Griffon. It's a nice location with easy access to many sites in San Francisco. The rooms were clean and had all the ammenities that we needed. The restaurant and bar were warm and cozy. We had a great stay!! |

| Our hotel room was nicely furnished, but it was tiny and it was right next to elevator, so u could hear it go and up down every so often.
On the other hand, there is so much stuff to do in SanFran that you don't have to spend much time in the room. At the end of the day we're so tiered that little noise from elevator didn't seem to bother us much.
The great value of the hotel does make up for the little annoyances we encountered |

| You cannot beat the price for San Francisco. At just over #100 per night it ws quite clean and comfortable and bear a Bart station and right on the waterfront and, as such, the ferries. |

| Small room, nicely appointed. Wouldn't want to stay for a long time, but overnight was just fine. the front desk and all staff were very attentive and accommodating |

| The Hotel Griffon is in a great location, right on the S.F. Bay, but almost all of the rooms face a wall. I think there may only be 4 or 6 rooms that have a view of the bay. If you can get a room with a view of the bay, your stay will be magical (view of the Bay Bridge and Bay)
I paid extra for a view of Stuart St. and I guess it was OK but it wasn't anything special and now I wished I would have saved my money. The next time I go to San Francisco I am going to plan way in advance and make sure I get a room with a view of the Bay Bridge.
Another big plus for me was on Saturday morning/afternoon there is a (I can't find the right words) an open air market at the S.F. Ferry Building. People selling good food, great coffee, pastries
Also, it is a short walk to the Embarcadero Station and u can take BART or MUNI to anywhere in S.F. and the Bay Area. |

| The hotel itself was nice. My room was small but it didn't feel cramped. The cleaning service started vacuuming at 9am every day which was a challenge for those of us who were out late the night before. |

| Definitely the relationship between price, quality of service and location is unbeatable. My room was very clean, they try very hard to be environmentally friendly but giving you the choice to play along or not. Yes, it is true...if you have a standard room chances are that you will have a window with no view at all ie.your view will be just walls with a tiny piece of sky at the top...I spent 5 nights there and did not mind my viewless window... anyway who will want to spend a lot of daytime inside the room in a place like San Francisco ;-). |
