Recent Hotel Frank Review: "Great hotel!! Clean, exactly furnished like in the pictures. We called ahead to request a quiet room. Glad our room was on the 7th floor. Busy area & noisy at street level. Took the BART from the airport to Powell St. station. It was a 30 minute commute. Walked 3 blocks up Powell St. to Geary St. and 1 block on Geary to hotel. We were concerned about  dragging luggage that far. The walk was not bad at all. Weather was nice for middle of Feb. Hotel was 1 block from Union Square and 3 blocks from trolley. (The trolley is also located at Powell St. station.) Just as advertised by the hotel. Chinatown is located about 7 blocks away. The restaurant located in the hotel (Max's) had really good food. Average pricing. Hotel had computer for printing out return flight tickets. Took the trolley to Fisherman's Wharf to catch a ferry out to Alcatraz and a shuttle tour of the city. San Francisco Comprehensive Shuttle Tours is absolutely the best tours to take for the money. We highly recommend this tour company. The hotel and tours were the best!! No complaints. We would absolutely stay at this hotel again."
