Recent Fishermans Wharf Review: "We were visiting for the weekend of the Nike Women's Half Marathon I was participating in. The hotel was great. The hotel was in an idle location for a tourist visiting the city. A block or two from the pier and conveniently located not far from Little Italy and China Town if you want to walk. The staff was great. The rooms were beautifully renovated  and the views from the rooms were amazing. You could actually see Alcatraz! When I asked to have a late check-out b/c I was participating in the race, they notified me that they couldn't give me a later time then 11am since they were under staffed. I was surprised since it was a marathon weekend and the city was packed but even more so it turned out their check-out time is 10am! which I was a bit surprised. My husband and I finally convinced them to allow us to check out by 12pm. The other thing we found a bit odd, and Ia€™m not sure if this was in every room but our shower/restroom door was a sliding door and it didn't fully close. Not much privacy especially since the toilet was near the door. I guess that would be my only complaint."
