Recent Donatello Hotel Review: "We were looking for a relatively inexpensive room in the Union Square area and saw the reviews for the Donatello. We didn't know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted by a very helpful bellman that even retrieved an item from our car. The room was large and comfortable. Included a fridge and microwave with all the silverware,plates and glassware you would require for an in room meal. It also had a nice sized flat screen TV with DVD player and a compact stereo system. The location is great for theater goers and close to Union Square transportation. The only drawback was not really their issue. Parking. There is attached, convenient, valet parking ($28/day) but we felt we had to quickly gather everything we needed for the room from our car, as we felt we were blocking the one lane entrance to the hotel. Also, the hotel was not easy to spot as the main signage is not on the street that contains the address. The entrance seemed to be Mason, not Post."
