Came in on an early fight Sunday and was allowed to check in early without advance notice. The location is at the edge of a residential district, across from the zoo and 2 blocks from the beach. There are convenient bus stops and train stops on the same block. Restaurants in the area are nice with nice staff and good food (don't let the mini mart next  door put you off, the staff is wonderful, they make awesome sandwiches and have a great selection of beer). The neighborhood is safe to walk around at night. The only problems I had were minimal. The building is old and creaks a lot when guests upstairs walk around. The bathroom walls are paper thin, and you WILL hear your neighbors (especially at 3am when they have a plane to catch). The front desk staff is nice and will answer any questions about the area, the cleaning staff are very nice as well. You can get downtown in about an hour using the bus system for $2 or a cab will be between $20 and $40 depending on where you're going. I will use this hotel again.

The staff was very professional and courteous. The room was clean. We asked for adjoining rooms next to our mom and we got it. Even though we were right across the street from the Zoo entrance there was no traffic noise in our room. It was very easy to find the VA -SF Hospital on Clement Street. When the caridac surgery was cancelled, Jag gave us a  refund on the second night as long as we let them know by 11am. We will defintely be staying again if we need to have a surgery at the VA.

This hotel is literally 2 blocks from the beach, across the street from the Zoo and in a cool neighborhood. For the price and proximity to the City and the above mentioned areas it is a great value!

I thought this was a great deal for the price, especially in San Francisco. We were going to drop off my daughter at college, so this was convenient, under 2 miles to the school. Parking was free and included. The spots are small, but it's San Fran, so to be expected. I fit my Saturn Vue in there fine. The room was actually pretty big, with a sitting area couch and table and chairs. We had a view out over the Zoo, and it was amazingly pretty quiet considering we were on the main drag. It isn't travelled much during the later evening, though so that helps. The hotel is 2-1/2 short blocks from the L Taraval line, so easy access to the city center using Muni. I think there was a "complementary" breakfast... but we were never up before 8:30 so all that was left was O.J. I believe it was pastries and toast... that sort of thing, but there's a place right next door where you can eat as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is in a nice neighborhood, there is a coffee shop, pizza place and deli next to it. The zoo is across the street, the beach is 3 blocks down and there are several muni stops. If you need a taxi you have to call one and wait 20 mins, to get to the wharf is about $27.00. I recommend it :)

I had a tough time looking for a hotel for a few days, including new year's eve. Unlike many other places, the Days Inn had a good rate even for the night of the 31st. It is away from downtown, but I lived in the bay area before and knew that ocean beach is nice and the neighborhood is a quiet residential place. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of our room, which included a bathtub and a small table with chairs by the window. The SF zoo is across the road.

The hotel has cramped parking that is true but overall a nice hotel. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the layout was attractive. It is 2 blocks from the Pacific Ocean beach and across the street from the San Francisco zoo. It is on the south west side of the city so the hotel is on the other side of town from pier 39, fisherman's wharf, mall, golden gate and the baseball park. It was a challenge to find our way through traffic so have a map ready. Do not count on the breakfast there; they served rice crispy treats and cheap knock-off pastry for breakfast.
