Recent Chelsea Motor Inn Review: "We loved this place, which was recommended by friends who, like us, have a young child. It's close enough for a (slightly long-ish) walk to the Exploratorium, and the surrounding neighborhoods are fun to stroll. The room we got, facing Fillmore St., was especially wonderful, with obviously-updated soft furnishings and a good bathroom. We were surprised, because looking at the building from the outside gives you no clue how wonderful the rooms are. (The carpet in elevator was stained, but don't let that fool you!) Hotel staff are excellent: professional and kind. I can't believe their rates are so low!"
