Recent Castle Inn Review: "The best thing about Castle Inn is its customer service. The receptionist was very helpful, polite, and understanding. Check in time is 3pm, but we arrived at noon and she let us into our room. We were traveling with a 7 months old baby and she needed a diaper change (solid diaper). Being able to wash her, change her into fresh clothes and nurse her made a huge difference to all of us. She was a happier baby and that made the rest of our day a lot better. The receptionist also had a map of the city available to us at no request and even suggested places to go site seeing and to eat. There are lots of good restaurants reasonably priced near by. At check out time (noon) they let us keep our car there until almost 5pm, which was very nice of them. Parking in the city is not easy to find and it can cost you $20 dollars or more. The hotel is very nice, clean, and comfortable with a very good location. We were able to walk to all the places we wanted to go to such as, Chinatown, Northbeach, museums and even Fisherman's Wharf (which turned out to be a long walk, but a pleasant one). We have stayed there again since then and plan to stay there every time we go to San Francisco. I have recommended to friends and have booked it for family. Castle Inn has become our hotel in the city."
