| great location safe walk to warf and to tour bus hop on off can get all over san fran for under 60,00 for two day pass. Rooms are clean breakfast is contenental good coffee crisants which are fresh (better then Ive had in France) w crm cheese and jelly Wine hr at 5pm which is very nice beautiful lobby w fireeplace. ED was a staff member who was friendly and kind and very helpful I would recomend to family or women traveling |

| Very close to Pier 39 and shops. Room was big, very clean, very comfortable. Staff was courteous and helpful. Will definitely choose this hotel again for our next stay in San Francisco! |

| I decided to stay at this Best Western for the first time ever because it was listed as owned by Kimpton. I did see the resemblance in the carpet, and tile type motif but, it was just not quite what I had expected. Location was fantastic but, Sheraton was down the street and even Holiday Inn Express which is probably a better choice for me. I had a window facing the courtyard but, it was not much. The room was small and the bathroom and bedding not really attractive with just a blanket for show on the feet end. Service was good, professional people and attentive and lobby was nice. I would not spend as much as I did for New Years again to stay there but, maybe for less if I had to and had no other options. Did say location was great no fantastic! 1 block from Pier 39 and 4 from Ghiradelli Square. We had parking on the street the whole time. Lucky.
By the way, I grew up in San Francisco but, came as a tourist after 20 years. |

| The hotel needs to do an upgrade. It's expensive and everything looks old. They charge for everything, even parking. |

| The hotel staff was courteous and helpful at all times. We liked the convenience of grocery shopping next door and we never used transportation (other than shuttle and BART upon arrival) to get where we needed to be. We made the trek to Coit Tower in about twenty minutes and were close enough to take a break in our hotel before going out again to see the sights. The hotel has coffee and tea available in the lobby each morning and wine in the evening. Great way to meet other guests. |

| The good: great hotel great location, withing walking distance to the pier. Very cozy. Good surrounding neighborhood.
The bad: the rooms are a bit too small. No self parking, valet only-$44 valet charge |

| Parking was expensive, location couldn't have been better. Easy access to all bus lines, and cable cars. Close walk to all piers!
They did not clean our room for two days, we had to ask them to replace coffee, and for fresh towels. The concierge was very helpful, as we're all other employees there. |

| We had a wonderful visit in San Francisco. The Tuscan Inn was a perfect location and the staff very pleasant and helpful. We plan to make this an annual visit. |
