Recent Best Western Tuscan Fishermans Review: "We had a fantastic time at the Tuscan Inn. The hotel is really well presented the rooms are exactly what I expected from San Francisco life well presented and clean with really in keeping decor. It is right in the heart of Fishermans Wharf, walking distance to the Alcatraz boat pier, Boudin Bakery and almost all the tours of San Francisco leave from  around this district so its fantastic for sight seeing. From a food point of view the italian restauraunt cafe pescatore associated with the hotel is fantastic for delicious evening meals and they will deliver pizza to your room if you dont feel like venturing out fantastic quality and service. Although breakfast is not included in most of the hotel rates there are some fantastic places to eat within walking distance of the hotel I would particularly recommend the Hollywood Cafe across the road amazing breakfast options. Our only slight problem was that the hotel is almost impossible to access by public transport - the BART system will take you as far as Market Street but all the methods of transport for getting up the hills to Fishermans Wharf are impossible to access with large suitcases so a taxi is your only option or hiring a car. Overall I would rate this hotel very highly it was perfect for a short trip to San Francisco if you want to be right in the heart of things to see as much as possible in a short period of time."
