| Two bedroom suite was perfect for four of us but would not have worked if the five people booked in that room had all come! Clean, with friendly people, typical mediocre free breakfast but lots of places nearby to find outstanding meals. |

| It is a cute hotel with lots of history. Great breakfast and wonderful staff. The rooms, especially bathrooms could clearly benefit from a touch up. |

| Near Union Square, we loved the location. It was an easy walk to great shopping and restaurants. The room was adorable. There was a very nice breakfast in the morning as well. It felt like old-time San Francisco. We had a great time. |

| We had a great time in San Francisco and the Hotel California was the perfect location in Downtown., Rooms were small but clean and great atmosphere., The Hotel is a beautiful old building with loads of character. We will stay again in San Francisco and would recomend to others. |
