| A beautiful old hotel. Nice comfy rooms. Close to everything. I highly recommend it. However, the free glass of wine was worth every penny. |

| We only stayed overnight at this hotel- arrived late and checked out the next morning. We had a day to explore the city and did not want to lug our stuff around all day. The hotel let us not only keep our rental car in the lot until 2:30 but they also kept our luggage locked up and safe. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms are small and the hotel faces a busy street so expect some noise. Overall, this hotel was a great value and an incredibly pleasant experience. We would return. |

| The price was right. Other hotels in the area cost twice as much. Our room did not have AC, but that was not a bid deal as we stayed in April and we just cracked the window. The staff let us check in at 10:00 AM which was very kind, The muffins were delicious and the refreshment table in the lobby was a nice touch. I would certainly stay here again . |

| Hôtel très bien situé à SF pour un prix tout à fait correct, sauf pour le supplément parking (37USD) pour une nuit, mais avec voiturier ! Comme l'hôtel est tout petit le petit déj est servi en buffet sur chaque étage mieux vaut se lever tôt, la courtoisie, la tempérance et le sens du partage n'étant pas les qualités premières de mes voisins de chambre au moment de mon passage. Le personnel est souriant, accueillant et à l'écoute, J'y ai passé un excellent séjour, reposant et calme de quoi récupérer après une semaine à randonner en Arizona. |

| Ottima soluzione se si predilige la posizione strategica per visitare la città e ci si accontenta di un simpatico e semplice rifugio dove pernottare. Le stanze sono molto piccole. Il personale è gentile ed efficiente, la colazione al piano da portarsi in camera offre ottime brioche e muffin freschi. Essenziale ma carino, con un'interessante storia alle spalle. |

| Great and helpful staff; good and convenient continental breakfast on each floor away from crowding; Unfortunately, like many older hotels, the only air conditioning available is open windows, which works well but allows in noise from busy city street. |

| Hôtel satisfaisant, bon rapport qualité prix. Situé downtown, proche du muni, du bart, du cable car et du bus que demander de plus à part une meilleure vue. |

| This is an old building, but the staff does their very best to clean and maintain the hotel. The cleaning service and front desk service is excellent. The hotel supplies a Continental breakfast on each floor, and guests are invited for a complimentary wine each evening. We enjoyed our stay and will return. The only slight negative was that our room was too hot, with no way to control the temperature other than opening windows. |
