| Excellent location for the money. Bus service very close, takes you right down to the Wharf area. Only draw back because it is very residential no food services close by, however there was one small convenience store that served us well enough for refreshments. Area felt safe enough to return on evening buses. |

| Room was clean but the smell of cleaning products was overpowering, although we got used to it. Was at the wrong end of Fishermans wharf but we walked it everyday anyway. Outside of hotel was quite dirty. Otherwise good value for money. |

| The prices were great online but make sure you book online because when I called the hotel it was almost $30 more to book directly through them. The location was awesome, just a short walk from fisherman's wharf. Also, the staff was really friendly. |

| If you are used to valet parking, 5-star hotel, this may not be for you.For a visit to the surrounding attractions this hotel is an excellent value for the very reasonable price.The room was clean, everything eworked. The staff was friendly enough. I would definitely stay there in future trips. |

| The location was way beyond fantastic. Bus stops in front of the hotel; charming residential settings. It was an easy walk to Fisherman's Wharf, the Cannery, Pier 39 and Ghiradelli Square for me with 2 bad arthritic knees. (Took the bus back to the hotel). The place even had an elevator. |

| Great location for the money. Within walking distance to Ghirardelli and Fisherman's Wharf, # 30 bus stop accross the street. Free parking is a BIG plus! Micro/Fridge in room also helped.
Cons - Ceiling fan in bathroom sounded like it was about to explode. Towels so small needed every towel, including face towels to dry off. |

| This was a nice hotel for what I used it for. I wasn't in it very much, just to sleep and clean-up. The parking was not good. I had to double park, either you get blocked in by another car OR you block in another car and have to leave a key with the hotel staff. For the type of hotel this is, I wasn't very comfortable with leaving a key to my car. |

| This is an older hotel with extensive renovations being done. The room was newly painted and very clean. The outside in general at entrance was clean looking, but the parking area has lots of rubble and trash around from renovations. Hotel was a good value and fairly close to sites. |

| The fragrance used was obnoxious. I am sensitive to fragrances, and called down to find out if there was a unit that squirts it out and they said no. So I opened the window, turned on the bathroom exhaust fan and left the room for 3 hours. When I got back, the odor was almost tolerable, but I spent an uncomfortable night. When I got home I found my clothes were permeated with the fragrance and I have to keep them in a separate plasstic bag until I can wash them. Febreeze and other deodorizing fragrances are used so universally, it is very difficult for me to find a tolerable hotel room. |
