Recent Campton Place Taj Review: "I had stayed at the Campton Place many years ago and enjoyed my stay very much. Therefore, when I had the opportunity to stay again, I jumped at it. It is much nicer than most hotels in it's price range that I have stayed at--soft and subtle relaxing decor, very clean and quiet, excellent service. My only disappointment was that I didn't get a room that was light and bright with a window seat, as pictured. My room was a bit smaller, and the window opened on to the alley, but that was fine. I arrived around dusk and left early the next morning, so didn't have time to enjoy a windowseat anyway. My room was very comfortable and I would definitely stay there again. It's right on Union Square so I was able to stroll down to Macy's and get a nice walk-in chair massage after dinner, which was great after a day on the plane."
