Recent Radisson Fishermans Wharf Review: "The location of this hotel is great! You walk out the back and you are literally on the Wharf. Fistherman's Wharf is located 1 block to the left and Pier 39 is 2 blocks to the right. Ben & Jerry's and Johnny Rocket's is accessible without leaving the hotel property. The Taylor Street cable car turn-around was 2 blocks away. There was a frig in the room (and safe). Safeway is one block away, so we bought drinks and snacks to keep in the room. Ghiradelli is an easy walk. The hotel was convenient for dropping off our packages so we didn't have to lug them around all day, and convenient for quick bathroom breaks. If you get the right room you will have a great view of Alcatraz and the bay. Parking is on site and is easy in/out. Parking is not as expensive as some $35 + tax a night. The concierge was helpful and the staff was friendly and Johnny on the spot with request for extra blankets. Our room was ready by 11 a.m. The sleep number bed was okay. We had 2 doubles (4 in the room) and it was hard as sharing the bed, we had differnt comfort levels, but glad to try them. I was travelling with 3 teenagers, and I would recommend this hotel again, as the room was clean and comfortable, and the location can't be beat. We felt safe. Quiter than our usual stay over in Union Square area. Both areas have their perks. I was ovarall pleased with this hotel."
