Recent Argonaut Fishermans Wharf Review: "I spent just one night at the Argonaut with some friends, but it definitely was enough to show us how great the hotel was! It lived up to its 4-star rating--the room was very clean and everything looked pretty upscale. What I liked the most about the hotel though was the customer service. While it was a tad bit slow on a day where there didn't seem to be very many guests, the hotel employees were very helpful and super friendly. I'd walk down the hallway and if I ran by a hotel employee, they would always smile and greet me politely. Not necessary but a great way to show guests they were appreciated. Also, my friends and I brought movies to play on the DVD player in the room but we couldn't get it to work. Despite the fact that it was 1 in the morning, the hotel staff cheerfully answered my questions and guided me to try to figure out how to work the DVD player. We then figured out that the DVD cables had been severed. Because their technicians weren't working at the moment (it WAS 1 AM), the hotel told us we could watch a couple of movies for free and apologized for the inconvenience.
Overall, my stay at the Argonaut Hotel was extremely enjoyable. It's a little pricey but it sure was worth the extra money spent."
