Recent Alexis Park Review: "As stated in some of the other reviews, there is some noise from busy Polk St. However, this did not interrupt our sleep. The room was very comfortable and very clean. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The motel is located within easy walking distance of downtown, union square and chinatown.I have read some of the very over reactive reviews to the neighborhood. My wife and I walked around the area during daytime, nighttime, and only had one person ask for money. We never felt threatened and actually enjoyed the entire experience. Some people on here have obviously led VERY sheltered lives. I will stay here everytime we go to San Francisco"
